The National Lint Project began in 1994 and a sculptural lark and it continues today because people continue to send their dryer lint to the project. Here is a timeline of the project over the years. Exhibitions of the work are snapshots within a long-term process that includes performance work, laundromat installations, gallery shows and aesthetic experiences in laundry rooms around the world. Right now I am interested in exhibiting my work in galleries and museums that are within a few blocks of a working laundromat, where I also install work and conduct community projects that invite a non-traditional audience into the process.
